Cape Ann Sportsman's Club Outdoor Range

We have an outdoor, covered, 20-position, 100yd rifle & pistol range and an uncovered, 8-position, 50yd rifle & pistol range. These ranges are open to qualified members from 9AM until dusk, seven days per week, except during a few regularly scheduled events. Any rifle, pistol, or shotgun (except full automatic) may be used. There are target frame holders at 25yds, 50yds, & 100yds. Target frames are supplied for use with rifle, pistol, and rifled-slug only. If you wish to pattern a shotgun with bird or buck shot, or use other distances, you will need to bring your own target frame. Eye and ear protection is required for both shooters and spectators.

The 100yd rifle & pistol range is also open to the public on most Sunday mornings between 9AM and 1PM, except during a few regularly scheduled events. Between December 25, and March 31, the range is open to the public by appointment only. Non-members wishing to use the range during the winter months must call the clubhouse, at the number below, one week in advance to make a reservation. Between April 1 and December 24, no reservation is necessary. In case of inclement weather, call the clubhouse. Non-members who wish to use the range will be required to sign a waiver, and obey the commands of a Range Safety Officer. Juniors, under the age of 18, must be accompanied by a duly licensed adult.
